Infrastructural accessibility

In this case, accessibility means that university buildings are designed in such a way that they are accessible to everyone without assistance. Barrier-free infrastructure means that not only steps are available, but also an elevator or a ramp as a wheelchair-friendly (pram-friendly) alternative. Clausthal University of Technology will review all future construction projects to ensure that access to the buildings is barrier-free and will implement this wherever possible.
