Clausthal University of Technology has made the systematic and gender-equitable personnel development of its employees its strategic task with a focus on "promoting young academics". In 2018, a personnel development concept for early career researchers and all academic staff was developed in a participatory process.
The personnel development concept was approved by the university committees (Presidential Board on 17/09/2018, Staff Council on 4/10/2018, Faculty Councils on 6/11/2018 and Senate on 27/11/2018).
